ABOUT THE TREATMENT
What is restorative dentistry?
Restorative dentistry is the branch of dentistry that treats and restores teeth affected by cavities or damage, without extracting them. In practice, it's the part that saves your natural tooth: it cleans the diseased area, stops the cavity from progressing and rebuilds the tooth structure with materials that look and work like your own tooth.
At Exigent, restorative dentistry covers everything related to the basic health of your teeth: consultations, prevention, sealants, tooth-colored fillings and precise investigations. The goal is simple. We keep your tooth healthy and functional for as long as possible.

Restorative dentistry treatments we offer at Exigent Dental
Consultation and diagnosis
A complete first assessment of your teeth, with clear explanations on how to maintain your oral health. It also includes intraoral and extraoral photos for an accurate diagnosis and to track your progress over time.
Prevention
Sealing permanent teeth applies a protective coating to the grooves of the teeth and stops cavities before they start. A simple solution, especially for teeth with deep grooves that are hard to clean.
Cavity treatment (fillings)
We rebuild the tooth structure with tooth-colored composite fillings, matched to the shade of your tooth. From small cavities to extensive damage, the restoration looks natural and lasts over time.
Cosmetic composite bonding
We correct the shape and color of a tooth with direct composite veneers, in a single session, without grinding down the tooth.
Protecting the dental nerve
With pulp capping, we protect the tooth's nerve and keep it alive, to avoid more complex treatments later on.
01
We use intraoral and extraoral photos to see exactly what we're treating, instead of guessing.
02
We perform minimally invasive treatments, preserving as much of your natural tooth as possible.
03
Fillings and veneers are matched to the color of your teeth.
